[2017.11.27] With the support from NSFC-ISF joint funding, our collaborators Prof. Edward A. Bayer, Prof. Raphael Lamed, Dr. Iván Muñoz-Gutiérrez, and Lizett Ortiz De Ora Ortiz from Israel visited our group on Nov. 21-26. Prof. Bayer gave a lecture "Cellulosomes, designer cellulosomes and designer bacteria for conversion of cellulosic biomass to biofuels", and Dr. Muñoz-Gutiérrez gave a lecture "Decoding biomass-sensing regulons of Clostridium thermocellum alternative sigma factors". We disscussed the current and future collaborations on cellulosome and its regulator studies in detail.
