We publish a paper on J. Oleo Sci.

[2013.3.6] We published a paper "Isolation and characterization ofAurantiochytriumspecies: high docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) production by the newly isolated microalga,Aurantiochytriumsp. SD116" onJ. Oleo Sci.

In this paper, we reported the isolation and characterization of a newAurantiochytriumstrain for high DHA production. This strain provides a basis for commercial DHA production and promotes our collaboration with industrial companies.

The first author Mang Gao is a master candidate student. Assitant Professor Dr. Xiaojin Song is the corresponding author. This work was supported by the Knowledge Innovation Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(KSCX2-EW-J-10 and KGCX2-YW-374-12).
