Prof. Y.-H. Percival Zhang,from Virginia Tech (USA), visits QIBEBT and Metabolomics Group during Sep. 5-6. Prof Zhang's lab at Virginia Tech integrates chemical engineering design principles with protein biochemistry, microbiology, and modern biotechnology to solve the most crucial challenges for biofuels (transportation fuels) production from renewable biomass. Prof. Zhang gives two scientific reports in QIBEBT: "Cellulase Engineering from Invidiual, Cocktail, Cellulosome to Cell-Surface Display" and "Savior or outcast of synthetic biology: synthetic enzymatic pathway biotransformation (SyPaB) ".
